This captivating print by Belgian artist Alain Derez (b. 1946) is innovative for several reasons. The erotically charged imagery is contradicted with a cool intellectual approach to works on paper. The print has round holes cut right out of it, and elements collaged on the surface creating contradictory interplay between the implied picture plane and the rhythm of the linear background.
