If an employee of Herman Miller were to have a child, they were given an Eames "RAR" rocking chair to rock the newborn. It would be marked with a small placard commemorating the name and birth date of the child.
 
This beautiful example is one of those rockers. It dates to July of 1981 and features a parchment shell with matching crimp-cord upholstered in a sunflower yellow Alexander Girard hopsack fabric.
